Fundraising Event at Penang for Tsunami Victims in Japan
マグニチュード９の大地震と大津波が日本の東北・関東地方を襲ったことは、今も世界中の人々に大きな衝撃を与えています。現在は被災地にある原子力発電所からの放射性物質漏れも大きな問題となっています。
震災で家族や家、仕事場を失った人々は、この先どうなるのかわからないという不安を抱いて、避難所で暮らしています。わたしは遠く日本から離れているので、困っている人のために、実際に何かをお手伝いすることはできません。ですが、どんなことが私にもできるか、考え続けています。
幸い、ペナンにいる私の友人が、被災者にお金を送るために、Ｃｈａｒｉｔｙ Ｅｖｅｎｔをすることを計画しています。ぜひ参加してください！

Charity Bazzar (You can bring anything for them to sell there.
You may also be able to find something you want to buy for cheap prices!)
Talks on how to be safe when an earthquake happens, methods of first aid, etc.
Dance performance
Kimono performance
etc.
* My friends are seeking for stage performers, speakers for the talk and volunteers to help the charity bazzar. If you want to help the event, please contact Ms. Mami (mamidayo@hotmail.com). To publicize the event, help me forward this information to your family and friends.
